APHA 2008 keepsake

All preservation is theoretical...

This was a keepsake given to all attendees at the American Printing History Association's national conference in October, 2008. We thought the quote from Gardner LePoer, Executive Director of The Museum of Printing in Andover, Massachusetts captured the essence of the conference theme, "Saving the History of Printing." Jill arranged a variety of wood type characters from our collection to illustrate the quote. The background was hand rolled in copper ink.
