Lead Graffiti’s requirements for attending Casey Smith’s Art in Community class visit to Lead Graffiti
THIS WILL HOPEFULLY LEAD to a useful conversation about “WHAT WOULD A GOOD STUDENT DO? RIGHT HERE. RIGHT NOW.” Lead Graffiti wants to help elevate the experience into which you are going to clearly pour an enormous amount of effort over the next 2 years. And you need to step up to make it worth it.
FIRST OFF, a good student can and will follow directions.
WHEN YOU VISIT Lead Graffiti, BRING a 5” x 3” notecard inscribed with your easy-to-read name, 2 GOOD questions (see the blog post highlighted below for what to do and not do), and 4 numbers.
1
The 1st question should be connected to the “What would a good student do?” blog post which you can read by clicking here.
2
The 2nd question should relate to either our INTRODUCTION TO OUR STUDIO video or relate to your having looked through our WEBSITE. You should watch the video and look through the website.

For 5 years we followed the Tour de France cycling race. Each day of the 23-day race, we designed and printed a poster highlighting the events in that stage (115 total). These are 4 posters that we like from the project.
LOOK AT THE 4 IMAGES BELOW. For the 3rd bit of info on your card, rank the poster images below from your most favorite (1) to least favorite (4). Please zoom in so you can see the detail. Write the numbers of your preferences at the bottom of your card. For instance, if you liked them in the order of fourth, first, third, and second, write 4 1 3 2. That’s it. Now bring your card with you to Lead Graffiti.
#1 Chris Froome rocketed to the finish line by a lot.
#2 A group of possible Tour winners circled each other tightly as they fought to the end.
#3 Gallopin came in first. An injured Talansky bravely rode in last by 40 minutes.
#4 It rained the entire stage.
