Designed for 14 participants who will write a haiku poem, compose the poem in metal type, and print over an “American Sentence,” which will have been pre-printed. This text block will then be folded, torn along page edges, and bound into a “no-sew, no-glue” Meander Book binding.

We are also working on plans to offer this workshop in 2- and 3-day formats. This one is one day and runs from 9:00 am until about 6:00 pm. Refreshments and lunch are supplied. Each participant will receive 3 copies of the final book.
