RESIST

Ray was working on printing some huge type (15” tall produced using our laser cutter and bookboard), focusing on the word “RESIST.” Jill in an entirely separate creative project of her own was hand-rollin ink in those little short blasts you see in the image. We loved the idea of “resisting” on a full 26” x 40” sheet of 300 gsm Mohawk Superfine.

We believe that resisting the current political turmoil the USA is facing should be a daily effort. Then write. Then protest. Then call. Then march.

Ray then merged our two efforts digitally with Photoshop.

Through ZooPrinting.com (they print for the trade) we also made a 6-foot vinyl version we like to use in the marching kind of protests. Metal through-rods are from Home Depot. a few of the surrounding hand-held posters are from our “Protest Poster” workshop.

Anybody can use the Lead Graffiti typographic mark we created for protest purposes. We’ll supply you with a digital version you can use without providing any credit to Lead Graffiti. Please email us with a request for the digital version.

Here is a photo of Jill with both elements that went into the final image to give you a clear idea of the scale of the elements..
